Our history.
A real intention
Foreword
To fully understand hemp, its uses and health benefits, as well as its legal, social and economic complexity, we need to look at its origins and navigate through the different applications, prohibitions and conflicts of interest...
But first, let's define hemp:
To sum up, there are two related plants:
-
Cannabis Sativa" hemp: a dioecious (male and female) annual plant with a tall stalk that can grow to an average height of 2-4m, cultivated for its fibres for textile and paper production.
-
Indian hemp, known as "Cannabis Sativa Indica": Cultivated in tropical regions to extract the inflorescence and produce "Kif", "hashish" or "marihuana". Highly concentrated in T.H.C (tetrahydrocannabinol), it is a psychotropic molecule considered to be a drug.
All this is obviously true, but it presents a very narrow and somewhat outdated view of current reality. So let's see why.

History of cannabis and its uses
In the World :

Information
We still largely ignore how and where the different cannabinoids act.
Researchers assume that it is the mixture of ingredients that counts and that isolated molecules (isolates) are less effective than the whole cocktail, see, as we have already mentioned, the Entourage Effect.
Complete CBD oils (full spectrum) are therefore considered to be very effective.
Nevertheless, with a THC level of 0.2% set by the State, a maximum CBD content of around 8% can be obtained naturally in CBD oils. Higher percentage oils can only be obtained by adding CBD isolates, as mentioned above.
Hemp and cannabis are commonly mistaken for each other, mainly because of the similarity of their leaves. The main difference between the two plants is the proportion of a psychotropic molecule, THC.
It has been known for thousands of years that hemp has more to offer than just intoxication.
Hemp, a traditional medicinal plant, has a varied mixture of terpenes, flavonoids and, above all, cannabinoids.
These substances have medicinal effects without causing intoxication.
The plant is known for its effects on pain (powerful analgesic), anxiety, prevention of epileptic seizures and anti-inflammatory properties. Some of its compounds, cannabidiol acid and cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), even act against SARS-CoV-2, according to a study by Oregon State University. The two acids bind to the virus's spike protein, preventing it from attaching itself to cells.

Extraction :
Several methods exist nowadays to extract the active ingredients from hemp. We have chosen the two most effective methods to date in order to retain as many molecules as possible and thus their qualities. For this several steps were necessary. First we crushed some of our plants and transported them ourselves to Germany and Austria :
-
In Bavaria, the extract for our 5% CBD oil "Rich and Full-bodied" was produced by supercritical CO² extraction.
-
Near Vienna, the extract for our "Sweet and Tasty" 5% CBD oil was produced by alcohol extraction.
Base oils: Our CBD extract is blended with Organic Coconut Oil (TCM) and Organic Hemp Seed Oil from Solling Oil Mill, also a family business._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_
CBD isolate:
We do not use CBD isolate in our oils.
As the name suggests, the isolate is an individually isolated component of the plant, cannabidiol, i.e. CBD.
CBD oils can be fortified with Chinese, American or European isolates. It is therefore possible to produce oils at 10, 15,20,25,30% and more, whereas naturally with 0.3% of THC, the CBD share cannot exceed 8 %

Full Spectrum:
In a full-spectrum CBD oil, all components of the plant, cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes are present. And there's plenty of that in a hemp plant. We talk about the Entourage Effect: "A single component of a plant cannot be as effective as all the components of the plant combined."
Our oils are full spectrum oils containing 5% CBD.
In our opinion, no more is needed, because the effect is quite sufficient.
Sustainability: We do without pipettes in our bottles, partly for hygienic reasons, partly because they are difficult to recycle.

For us, only quality counts.
The theoretical recommended daily CBD dosage does not constitute a prescription, dosage or medical treatment.
We advise you to seek the advice of a specialist doctor if you have a serious medical condition or doubts about the possible interactions of CBD with an ongoing treatment.
